WANT TO VOLUNTEER?

Community Access Points are public and community buildings where computers, scanners and printers have been installed for local people to use *free of charge.   Library Learning Services can provide basic inductions and instruction to help beginners use computers or help people improve their basic knowledge and computer skills and help individuals and/or community groups make the most of these public access computers. (*charges may apply to cover printing costs).

Can you help us help your local community? Do you want to….

We are looking for local people with some IT experience, to become volunteers and help teach people how to use a computer.

If you have approximately a couple of hours per week free and feel you could help your local Community Access Point, please ring Rachel Carpenter on 01480 376140 for a chat.   We can offer an attractive IT training package leading to an IT qualification (BCS1, BCS2 and or ECDL) if necessary.
